The Yippee.TV Years (So Far)

Thought I’d leave an update re: my work these last few years. In September of 2020, a friend referred me to a job editing shows for a new streaming channel called Yippee.TV. It was a new faith based streaming channel for kids. Like any streaming channel, they license shows and movies from other studios/production companies, but also create their own original material. Thankfully, after a couple test edits, they liked my work and hired me full time. It’s been a great pleasure to work with an excellent small team that achieves amazing results on a regular basis. I feel like I’ve improved as an editor as well through the experience. Some of the fun shows I’ve been able to work on include:

• “Daily Devo” – A daily devotional for kids with a host that explains things from Christianity and the Bible in easy to understand and fun ways.
• “Playtime” – A narrative show featuring action figures that ‘come to life’ as kids play with them, acting out fun stories.
• “Bible Builds” – Stories from the Bible are told using scenes created with Lego building blocks. Kids are encouraged to build their own scenes.
• “The Really Big Science Show” – A Jr. High science teacher helps kids understand the wonders of science.

The channel has over 85,000 paid subscribers and continues to grow!
